Peter Seitel, Partner Emeritus and Founder of Seitel Systems LLC, has been in the information technology business since 1982 as a computer programmer, analyst, IT service manager and business executive. He co-founded Seitel Leeds & Associates in 1990; under his direction Seitel Leeds became one of the premier network engineering firms serving Washington State government agencies, and was twice listed as one of Price Waterhouse’s “Top 50 Firms” in the Pacific Northwest.
Mr. Seitel, a former geologist for both a Puget Sound geotechnical consulting firm and the U.S. Corp of Engineers, is a graduate of Middlebury College. He holds an ITIL Certificate in IT Service Management and has pursued graduate studies in Operations Research at the University of Washington. In his off hours he can generally be found bicycling Puget Sound back roads, spending time with his family and friends, or volunteering as a mathematics tutor to Seattle students.
